Migrant Women Forum’s Statement on Racism and Colourism in Armed Conflicts

Racism and Colourism in Armed Conflicts: #BREAKTHEBIAS

A Statement by Migrant Women Forum’s Statement

17 March 2022

Migrant Women Forum collectively calls to #BreakTheBias in light of the racism and colourism that is heavily overlooked, especially by the Global North, amidst the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Migrant Women Forum call on states to recognize the inhumane and xenophobic treatment towards colored migrants and refugees in Ukraine and to urgently address the needs of vulnerable populations seeking refuge during this devastating crisis.
