— March 23, 2021Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR), a coalition of long-term institutional investors representing $2 trillion USD in assets under management, formally endorses the MFA’s Call for an Urgent Justice Mechanism for Repatriated Migrant Workers.
The ICCR recognizes numerous retailers and manufacturers in all sectors avoiding liability for systemic abuse in the past which has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. ICCR urges companies to implement human rights due diligence in their supply chains during and following the COVID-19 crisis and call on companies and investors to support MFA’s Justice for Wage Theft campaign.
