In preparation for the International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) 2022, the PMC organizers will hold regional-level discussions based on the thematic priorities found in the 12 Key Ways position paper and PMC one-pager briefs which were all brought about by global civil society conversations. It is a build-up from previous global conversations on 5 thematic areas which raised critical messages and action points from global civil society. For this consultation, we are inviting government representatives across Asia to react to a position paper prepared by the organizers which touch on specific key issues to Asia (as seen below).

7 March (Monday): 3 – Women and Gender, 4 – Migrant Workers’ Rights, 10 – Access to Services
9 March (Wednesday): 2 – Climate Change, 5 – Regular Pathways and Regularization, 10 – Detention
15 March (Tuesday): 11 – Migrants’ Agency and Voice, 12 – Civil Society Engagement
