People’s Migration Challenge – Asia Regional Consultations<\/h2>\n

In preparation for the International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) 2022, the PMC organizers will hold regional-level discussions based on the thematic priorities found in the 12 Key Ways position paper<\/a>\u00a0and PMC\u00a0one-pager briefs\u00a0which were all brought about by global civil society conversations.\u00a0It is a build-up from previous global conversations on 5 thematic areas\u00a0which raised\u00a0critical messages and action points\u00a0from global civil society. For this consultation, we are inviting government representatives across Asia to react to a position paper prepared by the organizers which touch on specific key issues to Asia (as seen below).<\/p>\n

7 March (Monday): 3 – Women and Gender, 4 – Migrant Workers’ Rights, 10 – Access to Services<\/p>\n

9 March (Wednesday): 2 – Climate Change, 5 – Regular Pathways and Regularization, 10 – Detention<\/p>\n

15 March (Tuesday): 11 – Migrants\u2019 Agency and Voice, 12 – Civil Society Engagement<\/p>\n
