The documentation process aims to provide evidence on the gravity of the issue as well as to strengthen our evidence-based advocacy around the issue of wage theft.<\/p>\n<p>From the period of June to December 2020, we were able to file 700 cases in our\u00a0<a title=\"This external link will open in a new window\" href=\"https:\/\/justiceforwagetheft.org\/en\/page\/fn5yqy10evw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">online documentation system<\/a>. These cases consist of both individual and group cases, amounting to approximately 1000+ cases of wage theft experienced by migrant workers at the height of the global pandemic in the region.<\/p>\n<p>In this regard, we have come out with an analysis of these cases in our report,\u00a0<em><strong>&#8220;Crying Out for Justice: Wage Theft Against Migrant Workers During COVID-19&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>.
