Research on Sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics and its implications for migrant workers: A study on perceptions, attitudes and freedom from violence, harassment and discrimination.<\/p>\n

And LGBTI migrants are often seen as victim of violence and sexual abuse during the migrating process and when working in another country. This issue has been raised in other researches. However, LGBTI migrants in each country and working sector will have different barriers and difficulty. Our research team in Thailand is aiming to learn more about the different experiences that LGBTI migrants are facing regarding violence, harassment and discriminations when working in this country.<\/p>\n This project is being carried out by three organizations \u2013 Edge Effect, the ASEAN SOGIE Caucus, and Migrant Forum in Asia. The Thailand research team will have a dedicated Vietnamese staff to contact and work with Vietnamese migrants. We understand that the migration and legal status are very sensitive, especially during this Covid-19 period.
