Aware of the enormous challenges of promoting ratification of C189,trade unions, civil society organizations,\u00a0domestic workers and social movements,\u00a0came together in Manila on 24- 26 October\u00a02011 to collectively discuss on how to drive\u00a0the ratification campaign in the region. The\u00a0Conference was the first regional gathering \u00a0organized following the June ILC.
