The survey aimed to map out initiatives of various stakeholders engaged in working on domestic workers\u2019 rights; and aimed to identify grey areas &amp; gaps around advocacy and to encourage civil society to cooperate strategically on these areas.<\/p>\n<p>The survey questionnaire was divided into eight parts:<\/p>\n<p>a) Organizational information<br \/>\nb) Scope of organizations\u2019 engagement on domestic worker issues<br \/>\nc) Mapping of activities in application to domestic workers issues<br \/>\nd) Effective knowledge sharing<br \/>\ne) Thoughts on effective partnerships<br \/>\nf) Participation in policy processes<br \/>\ng) Actors\u2019 opinions on ways forward and<br \/>\nh) Publications and campaign\/advocacy materials.<\/p>\n<p>The survey respondents were domestic workers advocates and current actors who are engaged in the advocacy and the initiatives being undertaken in the Asian region. A total of 49 organizations from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan POC, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Qatar responded to the survey.<\/p>\n<p>To download the full report please click the link below. <em>For more information on the report please contact William Gois of Migrant Forum in Asia at: mfa@mfasia.org.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2017 Mapping to Enhance Collective Advocacy, Action and Empowerment of Domestic Workers in Asia: Survey Results is now available for download.
