CALL FOR GLOBAL ACTION; TIME TO APPEAL STATE TO ACT AND SUPPORT HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDER

Mr. Hector is a Malaysian human rights activist who has been sued for $3.3 million by Japanese manufacturing company, Asahi Kosei, for defamation and libel.  This lawsuit is in response to comments made on Mr. Hector’s blog about the appalling treatment of 31 Burmese workers at its facility. (you can read more about this case in the attached document)
