Regional Training Workshop on Ethical Business and Recruitment Practices in Labour Migration in the Middle-East, North Africa and Asia

The Diplomacy Training Program (DTP), Migrant Forum Asia (MFA) and the Middle-East Centre for Training and Development are inviting applications for a regional training workshop on migrant workers and the responsibilities of the private sector in the Middle-East, North Africa and Asia. This training course will take place in Dubai, UAE, from 1 May to 4 May, 2014.

The training program will build the knowledge and skills of individuals concerned with the situation of migrant workers in the Middle East. It will build knowledge of relevant international standards and practices and skills in using available mechanisms in their advocacy, and in engaging with private sector actors. The residential program will also provide a valuable forum for the sharing of knowledge and skills, and for the building of support networks.

Please include letters of recommendation from two referees. Letters should be a maximum of one page in length. The closing date for application is on 4 April 2014. Applications will be acknowledged soon after receipt. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application soon after the closing date.
