Join the “Peoples’ Global Action on Migration, Development and Human Rights”

Government leaders from all over the world will hold the 2nd Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) on 29-30 October 2008 in Manila, Philippines. This follows the High Level Dialogue on Migration and Development convened by the United Nations in 2006 (New York), and the 1st GFMD hosted by the Belgian government in 2007 (Brussels).

About Us

MFA is a regional network of non-government organizations (NGOs), associations and trade unions of migrant workers, and individual advocates in Asia who are committed to protect and promote the rights and welfare of migrant workers.

It is guided by a vision of an alternative world system based on respect for human rights and dignity, social justice, and gender equity, particularly for migrant workers.
